Galliano SS '12
By Day 3 of Men's Fashion week here in Paris... I lost a fair amount of steam. I didn't make it to most of the shows on my schedule. It was cold and rainy.
Here's some highlights from the Givenchy collection:
The show I think I've enjoyed the most this week is Galliano. It was a complete sensory experience, a full on production: theatrical and entertaining. The clothes wear inspired by prohibition era American gangsters. Here are some of my highlights from that collection:
I had the pleasure of meeting Galliano head designer Bill Gaytten and milliner Stephen Jones after the show. My dear friend, Kiddy Smile and I went to Silencio again... where Ricardo Tisci showed up with all of the Givenchy Models. It was one of the most attractive crowds I'd ever seen anywhere. Some of the models got a bit excited, took the shirts off and danced on the stage. Enjoy a brief video... courtesy of my iphone.
