Behind the Scenes of HAPPINESS

Happiness Shoot 4

Last Wednesday, on an unusually cold and rainy day, a group of talented visual artists gathered in a studio in South East Los Angeles to film the video for my new single HAPPINESS! The short is about the simple joys of a happy domestic life paired with the fantasy of escapist musical performances of the 1930's/40's. Busby Berkeley was a big inspiration for the performance segment of the video - which I really enjoyed shooting. Director Mike Rosenthal's background in Film and Fashion photography made for some beautiful imagery. Here are a few pictures of what ensued.

For the main performance segment I wore a Dior suit and creepers and Jil Sander shirt -

The lovely ladies of LA based dance troop HARLOW GOLD provided the perfect feminine touch.

Acid House Smiley Face Hats - conceptualized by myself and Michelle.

HAPPINESS is being chopped together as we speak and will be going live in the next couple of weeks!
